Less Commonly Taught Languages
CARLA is well-known for its national
databases of where LCTLs are taught at a variety of levels
of instruction. The LCTL Project has developed a wealth of resources
for LCTL teachers including its web-based Virtual
Picture Album and Virtual Audio-Video
Archives, and accompanying exercises. LCTL project staff have
offered numerous teacher workshops and an summer
institute focused on developing materials for less commonly
taught languages and integrating technology into classroom activities.
