The Frederick R. Weisman Art Museum is located on the Minneapolis
campus of the University of Minnesota, on the east bank of the Mississippi
River. Founded in 1934, the museum currently holds a permanent collection
of over 13,000 objects; its programs serve the University community

The Walker Art Center
is one of the nation's primary resources for contemporary art. Focusing
on the visual, performing, and media arts, the Walker takes a multidisciplinary
approach to the creation, presentation, interpretation, collection,
and preservation of the arts. The Walker's permanent collection
of more than 9,000 works represents important artistic currents
of the 20th century, in a range of styles from figurative to abstract.

The Minneapolis Institute
of Arts houses over 100,000 objects from diverse cultural traditions
spanning 4,000 years of world history. The Institute is the only
comprehensive fine arts museum serving the Twin Cities and the Upper
Midwest and is recognized internationally as one of the great museums
in America. With exhibitions changing all the time, from American
photography to Degas, the exhibitions are unique, contemporary,

The Science Museum of Minnesota is known worldwide for its interactive exhibits, dynamic traveling exhibitions, and internationally distributed large format films.
Special Exibit: Star Wars: Where Science Meets Imagination is an exciting exhibition featuring more than 80 costumes, models and props from all six Star Wars films that invites visitors to defy gravity, manipulate robots, engineer droids, and journey into that galaxy far, far away that has captivated audiences for more than 30 years.
Additional fees apply for this special exhibition. Entrances are timed and reservations are strongly recommended.

St. Paul's glittering
Ordway Center for the Performing Arts, which overlooks Rice Park
just north of the Mississippi River near the Landmark Center, serves
as the Minnesota Orchestra's St. Paul home. The multi-purpose performance
center opened in 1985 and is home to touring musicals, dance events,
Planet Ordway presentations and its principal tenants: The Saint
Paul Chamber Orchestra, Minnesota Opera, Schubert Club and the Minnesota

Sir Tyrone Guthrie, this theatre opened in 1963. The Guthrie has
