Uses of Generic Software: Activities

Brainstorm ways to adapt a piece of software (Grandma and Me).

Try out features that you are not familiar with in MS Word - add a video, make a comment, hilite and footnote, etc.

Play with making a brochure or newsletter based on a template for a word processor.
You can find many templates on the Microsoft Office Online website.
(Do a search on brochure or newsletter).

Make a chart based on data in Excel. Here's an example.
