Introduction to Technology: Activities

The Activity sections are your chance to play a little bit.  You will have links to explore that will let you try out a particular technology tool,  many times from the viewpoint of a student, to give you an idea of what it would be like to incorporate that tool.

This little activity, for example, is something that you could use with students to practice the parts of the head in Spanish.

Here is an activity that you could use with students to practice their colors or numbers. You could give them instructions to "paint" certain things a specific color, for example.

Color and Listen - "the Witch is making her lunch"
• Color the witch's face and hands green.
• Make her hat and the cauldron black.
• Her chair and spoon are brown.
• What colors would you use for the rest of the picture?
• Click on each word to hear the sentence. You'll find it under the drawing.

This one has nothing to do with language learning - it's just fun:

Daily Jigsaw - click the "play free online" button
