Using Digital Images: Examples

I had trouble remembering the names of the teachers in a group I worked with because we only met once every three months. So I made a matching game using their photos. This is something you could do with students, and they could get to know each other's names.

"La Culture par les photos" is a lesson plan example from the CoBaLTT lessons and units which includes taking and using photos for learning culture.

The University of Wisconsin has a great web of ideas for using digital cameras (click to enlarge):  http://www.uwstout.edu/soe/profdev/images/digitalcameras.gif

Here is an introductory activity for students at the beginning of the year!

There are suggestions for how to use photos in various ways in the language classroom, especially for vocabulary learning.
